Details

A person or organisation involved in a case (a ‘party’) can give an undertaking to a court on a voluntary basis, instead of the court making an order. The undertaking will be set out in this form.

The party making the promise signs it at the hearing. If they fail to comply with it, they will face penalties (such as a fine, imprisonment or having their assets seized).
